IPV6: THE FUTURE OF....

When I think about how many people are on the Internet these days it baffles me. There are many countries around the world that have Internet access.  Not to mention there are so many people around the world. The worlds current population is 7,017,846,922.

I don't know about you, but that is a lot of people of  people living on this beautiful blue-green  planet. Now if u look at how many people out of us all have the Internet you'd be surprised how many do. Even in some places thought to be indigenous you can find many users, which brings us to our subject how many people will it take to get to the utilization of IPv6?

We  have and still are using our current Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6). We have been using this protocol for years which means there is a plethora of IP Addresses. Now if you take a look at this chart you can see how many people there are on the Internet as of June 30, 2012:

That is a lot of people I must say.  This makes me wonder how many Internet users it would take to populate to the point where this protocol is implemented? Right here we have a diagram showing the age groups of users aged from 12 to 76 years old:

When will there be this many users online? This is one question that has yet to be answered. This vastness in availability of services is a very intriguing factor of the Internet. What are your thoughts on this matter? Talk to Me..... In Computer.
